Marika Yelle

Marika graduated from the University of Ottawa with her Master of Science in Physiotherapy, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics.

She has a strong interest in orthopedics and plans to further expand her practice into oncology rehabilitation and pelvic floor physiotherapy. Marika’s treatment approach combines exercise prescription, education, and manual therapy to help her patients reach their goals. Having been an athlete herself, she understands the importance of movement and enjoys working with people of all backgrounds—from athletes to weekend warriors and beyond.

Marika strongly believes that people are often capable of more than they give themselves credit for. She is committed to helping her patients discover that potential by empowering them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to take an active role in their recovery. She places a high value on education, helping patients better understand their bodies and the healing process. By building trust and providing support, Marika strives to create an environment where patients feel resilient, capable, and motivated to return to the activities they love.

Outside of the clinic, Marika can often be found cycling, snowboarding, or enjoying daily walks in the fresh air. She also enjoys singing and listening to music. Fully bilingual, she is happy to provide care in both English and French.

Marika has completed her training in acupuncture and dry needling and will begin offering these services in early 2026.
